Jeroen's Ironhead

Now this is one neat Ironhead! It was made by Hans Peters from Helmond, Netherlands, with some help from Ronnie from the Iron Pit. It's got so many details you won't know where to look. Hans, ready for a new project, sold this bike to Jeroen, who might sell his very clean Panhead now!

The only thing I'm not sure about are the handlebars. But hey............

Martin's XS 650 Greenbackfly

I met Martin about two years ago, and at that time he was workin' on this XS. It's one of the best XS's I know actually. The gastank is a Butt's fiberglass, striped an painted by el Cheapo. The day after I shot this pics Martin traded this bike for an Ironhead sportster, which will be in the Greasy Kulture pretty soon, with pics by the flyin' Dutchman. The ironhead is also sold for a new project.

Martin kept the beautiful tank for himself of course!!

The island of Terschelling, where I was last week, has got his own Harley-Davidson club. Which is rather funny 'cause the island has only got one main-road that's just 15 mile's long and has got a speed limit of 40 mph!!

Some of theire bikes are parked in West-Terschelling in a tiny shed.

At the eastend of the main road, before you drop in the sea, we find the last Beach Cantina. It's called "Heartbreak Hotel" and yes, they'll only play Elvis songs here.

Hot coffee, cold drink's and juicy hamburgers are served here!!

Rock and Roll Street, Midsland

Last weekend it was time for the 20th edition of "Rock & Roll Street" on the Dutch Island of Terschelling. The entire village of Midsland is stuffed with Rock a Billy bands and then they'll party for three day's. The funny thing to see is that the Islanders dress themselfs up with fake sideburns, wigs and petticoat kind of things, and then allow the hard-core rockers and psycho's, from the mainland, to blend in with this strange crowd. This results in three days of party without a single incident! 'Cause you just don't mess with the Islanders!
It's a real feelgood, campy festival with funnygames on a Solex and a lot of popcorn.

Sundaymorning I saw a Psycho-billy, totally pissed, with fake sideburns sticked on his head! He knew the rules and was just having a good time.

I'm off the blog for at least a week. So no new post till than! Sorry!

Since Tjebbe did the cover for Dice 21 he's really famous. Everybody want's to be his friend, including me. In his mansion you'll find so much 60's and 70's stuff it scares the hell out of you.
