Now this guy told me he worked in a metal factory and was able to cut any kind of shape, from any kind of metal. Whenever I had anything he'd do it for free......... Hehehehe, so I gave him my wish-list! From rather easy stuff to quite complex! After a few weeks I got a call that he finished one of the things, and he gave me this.....
I was like "What the Fuck??", "did I ordered this?" Then I recognized the shape, it was my licenceplate holder, only a little bit to...... SMALL!! Turned out he took the centimeters for millimeters, and didn't read the big "LICENCE PLATE HOLDER" on top. Actually rather funny, and after a week I got the right sized holder, thanks man!

The road to the Bottrop Kustom Kulture event....
... was a short one this year. Despite the not so good weatherforcast we decided to take the bikes to Germany, but my gearbox got fucked up after a gasstop even before I could leave my hometown. Bummer!! Martin decided to bring my bike home and all take the car to Bottrop....

On our way to Bottrop we picked up Tjebbe from the ZZ-chop blog. And yessss, we really had to ride his creature from the black and yellow lagoon!! After years of hardtailing this was one overdose of luxury, but it handled pretty well..... shit!!

Garage Maniacs Party 4
Thursday, June 30, 2011
Oh, yeah.......
... there was a blog?!
Damn, has been some time since I've been here. More than half a year! Many things happend for me causing this, good things and bad things. Things that make a blog less and less important.
Kind of used to some of the things now... I guess! So I'll be posting a litlle bit more now.

Choppertown Nation Meeting 2011

One of the better things I've been envolved in is the upcomming Choppertown Nation Meeting in Germany, July 16th. This event has become bigger and better every week for the last few months! First of all we're very happy to welcome Rico Fodrey as a special guest! And there will be a cool photo expo with pics from the Flyin' Dutchman Maurice van den Tillaard, Limpe Iven and Sven the Wilde. And yes there will be pics from Josh Kurpius too! There's live music, a raffle and a custom car section hosted by the Rumblers! And when you check all companies involved things are getting clear. This is going to be the chopper event for Europe for 2011, no shit!

Choppertown Nation Meeting 2011
Well, it's rather strange when you make an illustration, and make it into a poster/ flyer, and find it posted on other sites and blogs before you can post it yourself. But.... tadaaaaaa, here it is!!The flyer for the upcomming chopper frenzy in Germany next year! This edition's gonna be massive, believe me. And did you you see all the companies that are involved?
Now you don't have to be a member of the Choppertown nation (though signing up is free) to come to the party, but it could be that members will get some advantages. Now , this party is just over the Dutch border, and pretty close to Belgium too. Hell, when you live in Switzerland, Austria,France, Italy, Denmark.... or even more up north remember one thing; your Chopper is made to ride! Ride it up here!
Keep updated here.

*WIN*WIN*WIN* blahblahblah
Now Lutz went to Speyer a couple of weeks ago and landed at the Flaming Star. Nothing special you might think, but; first who sees what Lutz secrets mission was will get absolute brilliant prices!! Well... sort of that is. You'll get three promotional Greaseheadquarters postcards and the Greaseheadquarters sticker!!! Oh my, delivered for free!! Now I know that what he did is almost sacrilege, but it was a nice surprise I'd say! Thanks Lutz (no Saint)!

Autumn wrenching
So last week I went to Martin for a cup of coffee. I also wanted to see a handle bar Tjebbe left at Martin's for me to try. Unfortunately I didn't liked it. Than Martin started to pick a couple of bars from his garage to try on my bike. Ussualy this should take about ten minutes. But... well.... it became a hour and a half. the thread from my throttle assembly was copletely fucked and finaly I used one from Martin's bike to get home. But hey, I love this 60's Z-bar way better than the old set up!
And oh, did I tell you already that is was really, really cold!!! Why are we not doing this kind of shit in the garage? Anyone? 'Cause I haven't got a clue!!
